Math Experiences for Infants, Toddlers and Twos by Donna Fowler – Discover how infants and toddlers are grasping mathematical concepts through their everyday routines. Explore the latest theory and research to determine how to promote mathematical thinking and support active, individualized learning during routines and experiences. Book included.

Bare Naked Activities! Tips for Transition Times by Lillian McCuen – Children of all ages sometimes have difficulties moving throughout the daily schedule – closing one activity and transitioning to the next activity. Make Every Minute a Learning Opportunity and fill that time with fun educational activities! Participants will actively play and learn fun tips/activities, with most requiring little to no prep or materials! Learn how to plan and connect the transition times to specific learning objectives throughout your lesson plan. Book included.

Vertical Gardening: Growing Up! by Eva Anderson, Master Gardener – Learn how to grow vegetables and fruits vertically instead of in rows. There are many benefits to this gardening technique for small spaces; less work, less weeding, fewer pests, less time, less money, and more produce! Gardening offers children great hands-on experiences to teach STEAM (science, technology, engineering, art and math) responsibility and stewardship of the environment. Creating Meaningful Math for 3-5 years by Donna Fowler – Discover the research related to how preschool children learn mathematical concepts and process skills. Examine the components of mathematics that form the basis of instruction. Explore ways to incorporate developmentally appropriate math activities in meaningful ways throughout the day. Book included.
