DESCRIPTION:2026 Parent Sponsor Entry Form(color version) to Display at Capitol Rotunda (must be sent by Feb 14 for Tallahassee display on February 22-27) and the June Conference. 2025 Parent Sponsor Photo Entry Form BxW for the photo contest on the 2028 Conference materials.  2026 Forma de entrar  en Espanol and 2025 Photo Entry Form BxW en Espanol Deadline is May 5\, 2026 for the Photo Contest for 2028 \nYou can mail payment or  submit photo contest online on the FFCCHA Conference shop \nFor a $15 donation\, your child can also enter a photo contest for the hand-shaped heart FFCCHA Conference Logo for “Enhancing Our Minds in 2026.” Note: Parent or child(ren) name will not be printed on conference marketing materials. Photo Contest Rules in order to be able to use the photo in print publications. \n1. E-mail entries must contain a hi-resolution color photograph uploaded in compliance with the Contest requirements\, in JPEG format with picture dimensions at least 1800 x 1200 pixels and 300 dpi. Send to: jjbrown@thechildrensforum.com \n2. Entries that contain photographs (digital) that do not comply with the specifications or any other requirements stated herein will be automatically disqualified. \n3. All Entries become the property of Sponsor\, and none will be acknowledged or returned. Sponsor is not responsible for lost\, late\, incomplete\, invalid\, unintelligible\, or misdirected entries. \n4. Entries that contain inappropriate images such as but not limited to nudity will be disqualified. \n5. Entries that contain any type of advertising or logo images will be disqualified. This includes visible clothing brands. \n6. Child(ren) must currently be in care at a family child care home of a provider member of FFCCHA. \n7. Parent or legal guardian must sign and submit a photo release. \n8. Deadline for photo submissions is May 5\, 2026. \nTips for making sure your photo qualifies for the contest: \n1. Make sure your camera is set on the highest pixel setting. The file size will be large\, but big can be reduced by the graphic designer. Small pictures can’t be enlarged! \n2. When emailing your digital photo\, do NOT reduce the file size. Keep it at the original size. \n3. If your computer or email system does not want to send it because the file size is too large\, save the picture to a CD and mail the CD in a protective CD case. \n4. Close up shots are best\, zoom in on the child(s) face. These are the priceless shots we need for the FFCCHA publications. \n5. Photography from professional photographers are not acceptable and will not be acknowledged or returned.

This day was purposely selected to be celebrated annually on the Friday before Mother’s Day. It is a day to give a special “thank you” to providers for their dedication to this profession. \nParents with children in child care are encouraged to take this day to show their child care provider how much they appreciate her/him.  It takes a very special person to work in this field and their contribution to the quality of family life frequently goes unnoticed.  Do not let this day go by without a special thank you to this person who is so important to your child.  It does not have to be an elaborate gift\, nor do you have to spend a lot of time or money.  A nice thank you card or a letter of appreciation from you and your child would mean the world to them. \nA few suggestions for a special ‘thank you’ are: \n\nGet together with other parents to create a surprise\nSend flowers or a plant for the yard\nBring lunch for the provider and children\nBuy learning materials or equipment for the play area\nWork with your child to create a special remembrance\nProvide a gift certificate for their hobby or special interest\nGift card for a local restaurant\, movie theater\, or nail salon\nSponsor provider to attend the FFCCHA conference in June\n\nFlorida Family Child Care Home Association Thanks You for taking the time to select a quality family child care environment for your child. \nSincerely\, \nGertrude Freeman-Ford – FFCCHA President \n
