Navigating the ABCs of Finances and Tax Preparations in FCC
Presented by: Lorrie Ann Brinson, CPA CGFO MBA/PA
Family child care educators will gain insights into Schedule C deductions for their FCC home business, specifically focusing on “Profit & Loss” statements. Explore the intricacies of managing other business expenses effectively and the importance of proper tracking, bookkeeping, and record-keeping practices.
About the Presenter:
Ms. Brinson is a Certified Public Accountant providing advisory, tax preparation, and e-file services for individual tax returns and small businesses. She holds a bachelor’s and a master’s in accounting, and a master’s in business administration/public administration.

Registration Fee: $40
$30 scholarships available for FL Registered OR Licensed family child care provider members OR co-provider FFCCHA members.

In order to receive a Training Certificate, you must:
- Submit your payment online.
- Be present for the entire training session.
- Submit the registration form via mail or email it to: training@familychildcare.org. by February 26, 2024.
- Complete and submit an evaluation after the training.
