About Us:

Founded in 1993 by dedicated family child care providers who wanted to provide a voice that not only advocated on behalf of themselves, but also for the parents and children of whom they cared for.  Hillsborough Child Care Providers Association (HCCPA) of NE Hillsborough County provides resourceful information regarding updates and/or changes to all child care licensing rules, regulations and ordinances.  Also, we support and welcome all interested providers and parents in the surrounding area.

HCCPA of NE Hillsborough County is a diverse group of women and men who have varying degrees of formal education and extensive training in early childhood education.

“Association Mission Statement: It is our mission to provide the highest quality of child care to the families we serve by continuously exceeding the required provider trainings per year; providing moral support to the families that we serve and to each other; and staying informed of any and all changes that may affect the profession and education of our children by maintaining memberships in Hillsborough Child Care Providers Association (HCCPA) of NE Hillsborough County and National Association of Family Child Care.”
