All Membership (Membresía) levels have the following benefits: voting at our annual General Meeting, a subscription to our newsletter, The Grapevine, and member rate on training and conference registration fees.
Chapter Educators and Co-Educators will also be eligible to apply for scholarships for our FFCCHA training, conference, and the Leadership Summit.
FCC Providers who join their local FFCCHA chapter and have NAFCC membership (see Premium options below) will also be eligible to apply for NAFCC accreditation scholarships.
FFCCHA is a state affiliate of our national organization – National Association of Family Child Care (NAFCC). All FFCCHA members can join NAFCC through FFCCHA at a discounted rate. See the FFCCHA Premium memberships!
Educator/Provider memberships below:
- Member (FFCCHA)
A person who owns and operates a registered Florida Licensed or Registered Family Child Care Home.
- Premium Educator (FFCCHA & NAFCC) Educator plus National Association of Family Child Care membership. Does NOT include a Chapter membership.
- Co-Educator (FFCCHA) – A person who works 40 hours or more per month in a Licensed or Registered Family Child Care home.
- Premium Co-Educator FFCCHA & NAFCC) Co-Educator plus National Association of Family Child Care membership. Does NOT include a Chapter membership.
Non Educator/Provider memberships below:
- Alumni (FFCCHA)– A former family child care provider/educator member of FFCCHA (retired or changed profession)
- Advocate (FFCCHA) – A supporter of family child care homes, past parent, an employee of an agency, coalition or college, or substitute/employee who works less than 40 hours in the FCC home.
- Parent (FFCCHA) – A current parent of a child that is enrolled in a regulated FCC home.
- Agency or Business (FFCCHA) – A business, agency, or corporation that wants to support the Family Child Care providers as early care educators.

Creating a Responsive Classroom with Leo Leonni’s Picture Books

Many of us have read Leo Leonni’s picture books aloud to young children throughout the years. Join us as we discover the pathway to developing a responsive preschool classroom as we incorporate the author’s books into your morning circle experiences. Participants will incorporate Leo Leonni’s picture books into daily lesson plans to enhance responsive behaviors.
