Advocacy and Policy Manager
We are excited to announce a new leadership position at the Florida Family Child Care Home Association (FFCCHA). In response to our growing need for strategic communications and advocacy efforts, we are seeking an Advocacy and Policy Manager to elevate our organization’s voice and advance our mission of supporting family child care providers across Florida. This position will report to the Executive Director.
About the Position
The Advocacy and Public Policy Manager role is designed to strengthen our organization’s impact by:
- Developing and implementing comprehensive communication strategies
- Leading advocacy efforts to advance family child care policy initiatives
- Building strategic relationships with media, policymakers, and community partners
- Enhancing our organization’s public profile and brand awareness
- Coordinating messaging across all organizational communications
2. FFCCHA Local Hub Coordinators – 5 new part time positions are available to apply for now.
Overview:
As a Hub Coordinator for the Florida Family Child Care Home Association, you will play a pivotal role in strengthening our family child care community by building relationships with providers and facilitating networking and connections among each other and with the local community. This position requires a dynamic individual with a passion for family child care and a strong background in relationship building, networking and mentoring.
About the Position
The Hub Coordinator role is designed to strengthen our provider community by:
- Building deep local relationships with family child care providers
- Facilitating provider networking and support
- Connecting providers with FFCCHA resources and benefits
- Providing mentoring and support services
- Partnering with local agencies to expand available resources
