Class Domains and Dimensions: Enhancing Teaching Practices Through Effective Observation
Presented by: Twyla Hartz
This training will explore the CLASS observation tool in-depth, focusing on the key domains for infants, toddlers, and pre-K classrooms. Attendees will gain a better understanding of how concept development supports teacher-child interactions and higher-order thinking skills across all age groups. Through interactive discussions and practical strategies, learn how to enhance teacher talk by effectively engaging children in meaningful conversations, asking open-ended questions, and facilitating exploration to promote cognitive and language development. Discover best practices for creating learning environments that align with the CLASS indicators, ensuring you are equipped with the tools to support optimal child outcomes through responsive and intentional interactions
