Empowering Early Educators: Business Operations and Risk Management in Childcare

Presented by: Marie O’Connell

Join us for a critical and thought-provoking training designed to empower early childhood educators across Florida. This session will help you evaluate your environment, explore your options, and develop a plan to respond effectively to potential threats. While avoiding paranoia, the focus is on preparation, which is key to protection. Gain valuable insights, practical strategies, and helpful resources to safeguard yourself and those in your care.

About the Presenter:
Marie O’Connell is the Executive Director of From Cradle to College Foundation, Inc., a non-profit organization serving children and educators throughout the state of Florida. This role encompasses her experiences in business operations, human resources, risk management, and community service. Passion for protecting our youngest children led her to develop and lead a team that brings unique and relevant education to early educators through the PEARLS (Preschool Emergency Alert Response System) program.
