Creating a Positive Environment: Attention to Detail Encourages Self-Regulation Skills
Our work is hard and often the days are long. The appearance of the space we create is vital to our mental health and happiness. This presentation will provide ideas to help you create early childhood environments that are interesting spaces for yourself and for the children you work with each day. Self-Regulation skills are taught and environments that create positive learning spaces and experiences will support more than just knowledge of ABC’s. Success in school depends on social/emotional development and the environment sets the tone for this development.
